Nick Heaney, is a student at UMass Dartmouth studying graphic design; and a graduate of the graphics arts program at Cape Cod Community College and Cape Cod Tech in Harwich, MA. As young as his high school years, he won the prestigious silver key in the Boston Globe’s Scholastic Art and Writing Awards; a regional division of a prestigious national program that recognizes creative talents. Nick has designed the logo for The Adult Education Center of Cape Cod Community College, as well as designing the Chatham shark logo which is being used as a clothing line at Mahi Gold in Chatham. He is currently a represented artist at Steve Lyons Gallery in Chatham, where he also works as the Curator and Artist Assistant. Nick has also featured his works in New Bedford, The Cultural Center of Cape Cod in Yarmouth, and RISD.
