Eric Davis is currently a senior studying mathematics at Worcester State University. Growing up in Hudson MA, Eric was always passionate about art and creative expression. In his senior year at Hudson High School he won the coveted Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards Silver Key. Upon entering college, Eric's interests shifted towards mathematics and formal logic; fields seemingly incompatible with painting. However, his love of math manifests itself in his work through the exploration of structure, pattern, and repetition. Influenced by his study of geometry and form, Eric's works play with sharp lines, harsh angles, and defined edges. He plans to continue his education upon graduating next year, and to continue to experiment with the connections between art and mathematics.
